Greetings once more. This gag follows on from my last Cartoon about the Invisible man and this time sees our hero at the Boxing. With a slight advantage over his opponent he lands a very palatable hit to the jaw. The idea for these gags, as detailed in the first Invisible man post came when I was searching for a surreal idea with the potential for laughs. Having recently done an internet search for similar gags, it seems I'm not alone with the transparent one as I came across a number of products on Zazzle with this theme! The cartoon was drawn, as is pretty much always the case, on bleed proof marker paper with a Uni Pin fine line pen [size three]. I also work on the PC to produce cartoons [more of these soon] but in this instance it was just the colouring of the original linework that required the computer. I was not sure whether it was WBA or WBC for the boxing championships [it became WBC by default] so the gag may have a slight flaw..or perhaps both are equally valid. Anyone with more of an interest in the sport please put me right! For the next post look out for a change in tack with a different style and subject for the cartoon. As always, enjoy the Cartoon!
